Quigo Launches New and Enhanced AdSonar 3.0

New Suite of Tools for Quigo's Private-Label, Pay-For-Performance Advertising Platform

NEW YORK, NY — August 9, 2006 – Quigo, a pioneer and leading provider of pay-for-performance, content-targeted advertising, today launched AdSonar 3.0, a significant upgrade that powerfully enhances AdSonar, Quigo's advertising network and platform for premium publishers.

AdSonar enables publishers to build their own auction-based, pay-per-click program featuring content-targeted sponsored links and to attract new performance marketing advertisers to their site. Advertisers have multiple targeting options including national and local targeting by vertical category, site, individual page and/or topic. Unlike blind networks where advertisers are uncertain of the sites, locations or context in which their ads will appear, Quigo offers full transparency.

Among the upgrades AdSonar version 3.0 offers publishers:

  • New "Targeted Links" flexible ad format that provides almost limitless possibilities for creative ad implementations. Publishers can include images, HTML or other interactivity meant to increase user interest in each ad. This is the first step in what will be a continuing roll out of high performance ad units built on the "Targeted Links" framework.
  • Ad serving in e-mail newsletters and RSS feeds. Publishers can expand strategic relationships with their advertisers by offering new distribution options on the same pay-for-performance basis advertisers have come to expect.
  • Augmented ad rotation algorithms to account for the appearance of an ad (fonts, colors, background) serving the best aesthetic treatment each time a viewer sees an ad on a publisher page. It is part of Quigo's ongoing effort to scientifically target ads based on every attribute that matters.

"We continue to evolve AdSonar to make certain that publishers generate the most significant revenue they can. Our new ad format and ad rotation tools provide unprecedented ability to optimize the revenue potential of every ad served," says Henry Vogel, Quigo's Chief Revenue Officer. "Product enhancements for advertisers also drive more bidding on premium publisher placements."

AdSonar's content-targeted sponsored links are distributed to many of the web's most recognized sites including ABC News, Fox News, Martha Stewart, Homestore.com, Lonely Planet, and PGATour.com; the online publications of American Media, Trader Publishing, IDG; and hundreds more.

Among AdSonar 3.0's benefits for advertisers:

  • AdSonar's brand new Marketplace (marketplace.quigo.com) showcases some of the network's most popular, targeted placements. Redesigned sign-up and campaign management tools make it easier than ever to drive results.
  • New "Quick Start" campaign setup tool speeds up the process for advertisers beginning their campaigns. By answering a few questions about their advertising goals, AdSonar can automatically recommend an ad campaign strategy. The speed and ease of "Quick Start" is especially useful for smaller, local advertisers new to performance-based advertising.
  • An improved "Campaign Builder" tool employs the latest dynamic interface development techniques to enable larger advertisers to find the best placements, write ads and set bids all in one place. Advertisers can efficiently manage all of their listings in one campaign and quickly switch to other campaigns from the same screen.
  • DemoMatch, a new targeting option currently in BETA, helps advertisers place ads on premium pages and sections popular with demographic segments they select. Age, gender, marital status, education and income levels are among the available targeting points, providing an important new method for generating the most qualified leads possible.

"Advertisers have even more transparency and greater ability to target their campaigns with AdSonar 3.0. AdSonar advertisers are able to optimize their marketing programs to achieve very high returns and lower marketing costs. As a result, we have an extraordinarily high rate of renewal business from advertisers who use AdSonar," says Mr. Vogel. "We believe AdSonar 3.0's new features will only drive these rates higher due to the improved ease with which advertisers can get contextually-relevant placements and the lift they will see in their results."
